Chief Minister Anna Fund Scheme will be launched as a pilot project

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev will gift development works worth Rs 495 crore 23 lakh to Surguja district in a program organized at PG College Ground, Ambikapur on December 9, in which 145 development and construction works built at a cost of Rs 154 crore 47 lakh will be inaugurated. And Bhoomi Pujan of 1047 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 340 crore 76 lakh is included.
Finance and In-charge Minister Surguja Shri O.P. participated in the program. Chaudhary, Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Prabodh Minj, Ramkumar Toppo, Chairman State Youth Commission Vishwa Vijay Singh Tomar Special Will be present as a guest.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will also launch the Chief Minister Annakosh Scheme in Surguja district. On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, this scheme is being started in Surguja as a pilot project by the district administration. Its objective is to improve the health of pregnant and lactating women of the special backward tribe Pahari Korwa community by providing them additional nutritional food, so that maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate can be reduced.
The works to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai mainly include 10 roads built at a cost of Rs 132 crore 83 lakh, tap water supply scheme in five villages under Jal Jeevan Mission at a cost of Rs 3 crore 59 lakh and Municipal Corporation Ambikapur. Sarva Samaj Manglik Bhavan constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore 52 lakh is included.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, construction work of 3 sewage treatment plants of 46 MLD capacity in Ambikapur at a cost of Rs 123 crore 28 lakh, 15 roads to be built at a cost of Rs 55 crore 45 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Rs 55 crore Stop dam, anicut, and canal renovation work to be constructed in 16 gram panchayats at a cost of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 28 crore 40 lakh in various villages. He will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the construction of 243 Anganwadi buildings at a cost of Rs 5 crore and the work of CC road, drain and road asphalting in the urban bodies to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore 92 lakh.
It is noteworthy that in Surguja district, on the initiative of the Chief Minister, Surguja-30 free residential coaching is being conducted by the district administration. Through this, free residential coaching is being provided to meritorious students of class 10th and 12th. Along with this, free weekly coaching for NEET and JEE is also being conducted every Saturday and Sunday. The proceedings of Collector Court and Collector Public Darshan are being telecast online on the official YouTube channel of Surguja district.
