A youth tried to commit suicide in the Collectorate premises of Balaghat. He says that one of his shops was demolished. For this he had been applying to the authorities for a long time but he was not being heard.

State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is on a one-day stay in Balaghat district, and the district administration and police administration are making continuous efforts to prevent any untoward situation from arising during his arrival.

In this context, before his arrival, a high voltage drama was seen in the Collectorate premises. In fact, despite continuous applications and requests, the youth resident of Birsa reached the public hearing organized in the Collectorate office when the problem was not resolved.

Expressing his displeasure over the problem not being resolved, he poured kerosene oil on himself and his family and attempted to commit suicide.

The security personnel and other government employees present at the spot reached the spot and intervened. As soon as information about this was received, Additional Collector KC Thakur and Kotwali Inspector Prakash Vaskale reached the spot and after giving advice to the young man and his family, they took him away from the spot.
