Tempo and bus collide on Mumbai-Pune Expressway early in the morning in Raigarh district of Maharashtra, 14 people injured

A tempo rammed into a private bus on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in Maharashtra’s Raigad district in the early hours of Thursday, injuring 14 people. A police officer gave this information. This incident happened at around three in the morning. The bus was going from Sangola to Mumbai, in which 11 people were traveling. The officer said that the brakes of the tempo carrying chickens broke down due to which it collided with the bus. He said that the bus overturned from the highway and fell into a 20 feet deep ditch on the roadside.

The official said that 11 people including the driver of the bus and three people traveling in the tempo were injured. The bus passengers were given first aid at the government hospital located in Khopoli. The officer said that three people traveling in the tempo suffered serious injuries. He is being treated at MGM Hospital in Kalamboli near Panvel. The officer said that Khopoli police is investigating the incident.
