Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat) is no less than a boon for all the families of Baiga tribe of Singrauli district. This welfare scheme launched by the Central Government has given a strong support to the needy families for the treatment of the disease. Under this scheme, a smile of relief, satisfaction and happiness has come on the faces of the family of a little girl Pushpa, daughter of Kumarshah Baiga. The Baiga tribe comes under the Particularly Backward Tribal Group (PVTG) of the state.
The financial condition of Pushpa Baiga’s family is very weak. They had to face many obstacles and difficulties in accessing basic health facilities. Due to this important plan, Pushpa’s family is now feeling relieved. Due to everyone’s dedicated efforts, the benefits of this scheme are reaching all the Baiga families. In the same direction, Ayushman card of Pushpa was also made in a camp held in Singrauli.
With the creation of Ayushman card, Pushpa’s family is now free from worries about her medical expenses. In case of any serious illness or minor or major physical problem, Pushpa can now be treated free of cost up to Rs 5 lakh. This is a big relief not only for Pushpa’s family but also for all the families of backward and lower income groups of the society.
Due to this financial security cover provided by Ayushman Card, Pushpa’s parents are now feeling more self-reliant regarding the physical development and future of their children. This scheme has emerged as a symbol of stability and social empowerment in their lives.
