Kabirdham Police has seized Rs 30.17 lakh from a vehicle during vehicle checking. Police fear that the money could be used in illegal activity. However, interrogation of the two people sitting in the vehicle from which the money was found is ongoing. Bodla SDOP Krishna Kumar Chandrakar said that vehicles are being checked to effectively curb suspicious activities and illegal transactions in the district.

In this series, a suspicious vehicle was stopped today by Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Border Police Station Chilfi Police. After searching the vehicle, Rs 30 lakh 17 thousand 500 cash was recovered. The name of the person traveling in the vehicle is Zafir Hussain, father Zakir Hussain, age 36 years, and Mohammad Ashfaq, father Mohammad Hanif, age 36 years, both residents of Bapawar Kala, Kota, Rajasthan. Both were interrogated regarding the source and use of cash, but they could not give any satisfactory answer. Preliminary investigation suspects that the cash may be related to illegal activities. Detailed investigation of the case is going on. Let us tell you that last month in October, the police of this police station had seized Rs 2 crore 27 lakh 50 thousand in cash and a car. During this action, three suspicious persons were detained, who were residents of Mandla (Madhya Pradesh). The Income Tax Department was also informed to further investigate the matter.
