Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the sensitivity of an officer is the basis of the success of the administration. Sensitive officers are true servants of the society and nation. They can give a lot to the society and nation through their works. That is why officers should always keep the feeling of sensitivity paramount in their working behavior. Governor Patel was addressing the probationary officers of the Indian Police Service. Director, Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Smt. Sonali Mishra was present in the program organized at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Patel told the officials that your parents and teachers have a special role in making you reach this position. Every person in the society also has direct and indirect contribution. Always remember the feeling of gratitude towards all of them in your life.
Governor Patel said that all you young officers are representatives of the Amrit generation determined to build a developed India. Take the initiative to create such a work culture for a developed India, in which the public is not afraid of law enforcers, but respects the law. Governor Patel said that the common man can become an IPS officer. Officials are considered to be guardians of law and order and officers who help in providing justice. Living up to their trust will be the criterion for the success of your work. Use your powers to empower the last line and weak person of the society.
Awareness necessary for changing forms of cyber crime
Governor Patel said that your intelligence and knowledge are important in creating a sensitive and professional identity of the police force. Inspire the police force by your example by working without fear, delay and favoritism. Governor Patel said that the big challenge of the present time, awareness and innovation towards cyber crime and its changing forms, is very important. Make efforts with innovations to make the general public and especially the deprived sections aware about the latest cyber threats like digital arrest etc.
Governor Patel was welcomed by Trainee Officer Suurvashi. Director of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Smt. Mishra felicitated Governor Patel by presenting him a memento and gave the welcome address. He said that a total of 11 trainee officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre of year 2022 and 2023 batch are included in the training program. The vote of thanks was expressed by Malay Jain, Deputy Director of the Academy. Additional Secretary to the Governor Umashankar Bhargava, other officials of Raj Bhavan and concerned were present in the program.
