The process of escape of prisoners from the Central Jail of Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh is not showing any sign of stopping. Recently, two prisoners who were serving sentences for serious crimes like murder, did not return after going out on parole and absconded. The jail administration has complained to the police in this matter and has started searching for the absconding prisoners.

What is the whole matter?
Gwalior Central Jail officials have complained to Bahodapur police station that two prisoners had gone out on parole, but they did not return to the jail on their scheduled date. Jail administration said that Kamlesh son of Pannalal Batham, resident of Bhitarwar in Gwalior district, was serving sentence in the murder and Arms Act cases. After going out on parole, he did not return on the scheduled date. When the jail administration informed about Kamlesh not returning, the police registered a case and started searching for the absconding accused. According to the police, a case has been registered against Kamlesh in Bahodapur police station and now the police is conducting raids to arrest him.

Search for prisoners continues
Police have taken strict action against these prisoners who escaped from Gwalior Central Jail. Jail management and police say that a special team has been formed to search for the absconding prisoners and they will be caught soon.
