According to the information, Gwalior Municipal Corporation has made a major change in the system of daily water supply. Now after 50 days, water from Tighra reservoir will be given to the city residents except for one day. The corporation officials claim that water will be saved in the winter season and will be supplied daily in May-June.

On November 16, water was supplied from 58 tanks to various localities and colonies of 36 wards. This also includes direct water supply at five places. On the second day, on November 17, there will be supply from 56 water tanks. There will be a day of water supply in the colony localities of 33 wards. Similarly, water will be supplied every other day. Tighra reservoir was filled to the brim during good rains. During that time, the Water Resources Department had decided to supply water daily till November 15. Under that decision, water was being supplied daily. Now under the new system, water will be available except one day from 16 November to 30 April 2025 and again from 1 May 2025 to 31 August, water will be supplied daily. Today (Saturday), drinking water supply was done here in Rakkas tank, Sagar Tal direct supply, Laxmibai Colony, Laxman Talaiya, direct supply in Shinde ki cantonment area Khallasipura, Dal Bazaar-Lohia Bazaar-Naya Bazaar and direct supply in Old High Court area, BSF Colony tank, Shatabdipuram Tank, Pinto Park Tank, Maharajpura Hill, Maharaja Complex DD Nagar, Sector-1 of DD Nagar, Sector-G Tank, Railway Colony, Amity Hill, Jaderua Water Tank, Kunj Vihar, Amaltash Colony, Shiv Colony, Narayan Vihar , Thatipur Bajaria, Sharda Vihar, Employee Housing Colony, Darpan Colony, Diet, Tulsi Nagar, New Collectorate, RKBM, Huravali, Gupteshwar Pahari, Hanuman Pahari Old Tank, Hem Singh Ki Parade, Samadhiya Colony, Gudi Payega, Jawahar Colony, Sikandar Kampu Areas have been supplied from Dang Wale Baba, Awadpura Park, Awadpura Hill Tank.
