New employment opportunities are going to open soon in Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. These three new industrial areas are going to be built in Pithampur, Dhar and Badnawar. This will boost employment generation in Malwa region. Besides, already existing sectors in Pithampur will also be developed.
Detailed Project Report i.e. DPR is also being prepared for these projects. The allotment of land in Jaitapura near Dhamnod in Dhar district has also been almost completed. Apart from this, new projects are also proposed in Tarapur and Lalbagh-Basvi. The land at these places is with the Industries Department, which will make it easier to start projects.
Old land will be developed afresh
There is also a plan to redevelop the vacant land in old industrial areas. A total of 1716 hectares of land has been identified so far. All the formalities related to these will be completed before the Investors Summit.
Dhar Industrial Area will be like this
A new industrial area will be built in about 256 hectares in Tarapur of Dhar district. A new industrial area will be developed on about 216 hectares of land in Lalbagh-Basvi.
Pithampur Industrial Area
New projects will be developed on 450 hectares in Pithampur Sector 8 i.e. Bardari and 538 hectares in Sector-9 i.e. Bhatkhedi. The estimated cost of these projects will be Rs 1000 crore. These projects are expected to provide employment to about 3500 people. Phase-2 of Pithampur Sector 6 will also be expanded, for which 74.853 hectares of land has been identified. It is estimated that around Rs 80 crore will be spent on this project. This will provide employment to about 2500 people.
Badnawar Industrial Area
A new industrial area will be developed in 205 hectares at Bhensola in Badnawar. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 207 crore and it is expected to provide employment to about 3000 people. There is a proposal to build a logistics park in Machal on 23.35 hectares, which will cost around Rs 25 crore. This project is expected to provide employment to about 1 thousand people.
MPIDC is also helping
MPIDC is also working diligently to help the companies. So that they do not have to face difficulties in starting their work. Talking on this topic, a senior official said that many big investors are already joining their projects in Indore-Dhar region. Work is being done to ensure that they do not face problems ranging from land to other things.
