He has decided to make former Democratic Party member Tulsi Gabbard as DNI. Gabbard has been a four-time MP and was also a presidential candidate in 2020. Gabbard has experience from three deployments to conflict-torn areas in West Asia and Africa. She recently left the Democratic Party and joined the Republican Party.

His mother raised her children according to Hindu culture. He is a lifelong vegetarian. She took the oath of being a member of Congress by placing her hand on Bhagavad Gita. She has been raising the issue of oppression against Hindus in Bangladesh.
Issue of Hindus was raised
In the year 2021, Tulsi Gabbard introduced a resolution in the US Congress for the protection of Hindu minorities after repeated atrocities in Bangladesh. In 1971, he attacked the Pakistani Army for its brutality against the minority group. In his proposal he mentioned how 50 years ago the Pakistani Army killed, tortured and expelled thousands of Bengali Hindus from their homes in Bangladesh. He had raised the issue of Pakistan’s land being used by terrorists.
