In Chhattisgarh, the examination results of class 10th and 12th in government high schools and higher secondary schools are not as expected. In view of this, the School Education Department has decided to conduct pre-board examination before the board examination. This examination will be conducted from the last week of January 2025. For this, the Education Department has issued instructions to all the District Education Officers. Pre-board examination will be held for classes 10th and 12th in all government schools of the state from session 2024-25.
In the pre-board exam, students will be asked questions from the entire syllabus. Besides, it has also been directed that the syllabus of class 10th and 12th should be completed by January 10, 2025, so that the students get enough time and can appear in the examination with complete preparation.
Committees of subject experts will be formed in every district to prepare question papers. These committees will be given training to prepare question papers as per the blueprint prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education. This training will ensure that the level of examination is at par with the board exam. Apart from this, students will also be introduced to this blueprint, so that they can further improve their board exam preparation.
The exam will be conducted in this way
– Every district will conduct pre board examination.
– Pre board examination will be conducted in full syllabus.
– 10th and 12th courses will have to be completed by January 10.
– Pre board examination should be conducted from the last week of January, each district will release the time table of pre board itself.
– District Education Officer will form a subject-wise committee for preparing question papers.
– The question paper will be prepared according to the blue print prescribed by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.
– Training of blue print of question paper will be given to the members of the question paper preparation committee by the subject experts available in the districts of the subject committee of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.
– Subject experts should be kept in the possible question formulation committee.
– Students of class 10th and 12th should also be introduced to the blue print, so that they can prepare for the board exam on the basis of the blue print.
