Taking advantage of the crowd the robbers managed to escape. Meanwhile, the victim noted down the number of the scooter. They tried to trace the robbers on the basis of the scooter’s number. When they did not get information about the robbers, they lodged a complaint with Sarkanda police station. On this the police have started searching for the robbers.

When they protested against this, the husband and wife together beat up Maheshwari and her husband.

While leaving home, they threatened to kill Maheshwari and her husband when the police came to their house on the complaint of selling illegal liquor. The woman has complained about the incident at Bilha police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a crime and taken the matter under investigation.

Woman who came out to sell ganja in industrial area arrested

The police have arrested a woman who had come out to sell ganja in the industrial area of ​​Sirgitti. One kilo of ganja and scooter have been seized from the woman’s possession. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and presented in the court.

Sirgitti police received information that a woman is roaming in the industrial area to sell ganja. On this the police team reached the spot. Geetika Kaushik alias Geetu (31), resident of Parsada Awaspara, was surrounded and caught from the spot. During the search, one kilo of ganja was found from the woman’s scooter. The police team seized it and brought the woman to the police station. Here action has been taken against him under the NDPS Act.
