Manish Yadav, resident of Nayapara, Sirgitti, is a loan officer in a private company. He was going to Bahtrai to fill the loan form of the customer at around 5:30 pm on November 4. Stopping the bike near Nag-Nagin pond, he stopped for bathroom.
After the bathroom, he came near the bike and was looking at his mobile. Meanwhile, two people riding a scooter snatched the mobile from his hand. They started chasing the robbers on their bike. Taking advantage of the crowd the robbers managed to escape. Meanwhile, the victim noted down the number of the scooter. They tried to trace the robbers on the basis of the scooter’s number. When they did not get information about the robbers, they lodged a complaint with Sarkanda police station. On this the police have started searching for the robbers.
Neighbor beaten up after accusing him of sending police, case of village Umaria of Bilha area, police engaged in investigation.
A woman and her husband, living in village Umaria of Bilha area, beat up their neighbor woman by accusing her of sending police and excise officials to the house. The woman injured in the assault has lodged a complaint at Bilha police station. Police have registered a case on this and started investigating the case. Maheshwari Rajput, who lives in Umaria, runs a grocery shop at home. Her husband Horilal Rajput also helps in this. On the morning of Wednesday, November 6, she was at home with her husband. His children had gone out.
At around four in the evening, Nandkumar Rajput, who lives in the village, came to his house with his wife Heera Rajput. Entering the house, they accused the woman and her husband of filing a complaint with the police and excise department. When they protested against this, the husband and wife together beat up Maheshwari and her husband.
While leaving home, they threatened to kill Maheshwari and her husband when the police came to their house on the complaint of selling illegal liquor. The woman has complained about the incident at Bilha police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a crime and taken the matter under investigation.
Woman who came out to sell ganja in industrial area arrested
The police have arrested a woman who had come out to sell ganja in the industrial area of Sirgitti. One kilo of ganja and scooter have been seized from the woman’s possession. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and presented in the court.
Sirgitti police received information that a woman is roaming in the industrial area to sell ganja. On this the police team reached the spot. Geetika Kaushik alias Geetu (31), resident of Parsada Awaspara, was surrounded and caught from the spot. During the search, one kilo of ganja was found from the woman’s scooter. The police team seized it and brought the woman to the police station. Here action has been taken against him under the NDPS Act.
