According to weather experts, there is a possibility of further drop in temperature in the coming time.

Drop in temperature in the state

With changing weather patterns, temperatures are falling across the state. The night temperature in Pachmarhi was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius, which was the lowest temperature of this season. The maximum temperature in the capital Bhopal on Thursday was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius, which was one degree less than Wednesday. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 15.8 degrees Celsius, which was half a degree less than normal.

Meteorologist’s warning

According to meteorologist Ajay Shukla, at present no major weather system is effective in the state, but due to the northern direction of the winds, the temperature is falling. Northern winds have been blowing in Bhopal for the last three days, due to which a drop in day and night temperatures is being observed. The temperature is also decreasing in other parts of the state.

The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in the state during the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of a further drop in the temperature, and the night temperature may drop further in other parts of the state as well.

  • Pachmarhi: 11.6 degrees Celsius
  • Shajapur: 14.9 degrees Celsius
  • Mandla: 15.2 degrees Celsius
  • Chhindwara: 15.4 degrees Celsius
  • Shahdol: 15.6 degrees Celsius

In some cities the daytime heat crossed 32 degrees Celsius.

  • Neemuch: 33.3 degrees Celsius
