The accused who committed robbery in Vrindavan Colony of Nepanagar had escaped from Burhanpur station. Police have so far recovered five out of six bikes. A reward of Rs 10,000 has been announced on the accused and the police is busy investigating.

On November 2, the accused who committed robbery in Vrindavan Colony of Nepanagar had escaped by boarding a train from Burhanpur station after traveling a distance of about twenty kilometers. This possibility is being expressed because the police have found three more bikes stolen by the dacoits from a street near Burhanpur railway station.

Five out of six stolen bikes have been recovered so far. Earlier, the police had found two bikes left by the dacoits around Nepanagar. The bikes recovered by the police on Thursday belonged to Satish Nagle, Gyanendra Jaiswal and Meharban Billore, residents of Vrindavan Colony.

Reward of Rs 10,000 announced

Superintendent of Police Devendra Patidar has announced a reward of ten thousand rupees on the accused of robbery. Police station in-charge Gyanu Jaiswal said that teams from the district including Nepanagar police station are engaged in searching. The bikes were lying abandoned in the Sagar Tower lane for two days.

Police further said that after checking their numbers, all three bikes were found to belong to the citizens of Nepanagar. These were seized at 11.30 pm on Tuesday night. He said that CCTV footage of the area is being examined. The accused have left bikes at different places to mislead the police.
