Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh’s e-Municipality 2.0 portal will be equipped with GIS and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This will include 16 modules and 24 citizen services. Madhya Pradesh is the first state where all the urban bodies of the state have been brought on one portal.
E-Municipality 2.0 will be integrated with Common Service Centre, M-Online, Kiosk Center and Payment Gateway. All the processes related to this have been completed. The Urban Development and Housing Department in the state has started the web-based e-Municipality Scheme with the aim of computerizing all 413 urban bodies of the state.
This project is a unique example of e-governance to promote the objective of Digital India and deliver transparent and prompt citizen services. Urban bodies are providing online facilities by integrating all citizen services, public complaint facility, internal working system of bodies, all payment and budget processes.
