Three women who stole gold beads from bullion shop arrested from Rajasthan, clue found from CCTV


A week ago, three-four women had escaped after stealing a box of gold beads weighing 65 grams from a jewelers shop located near the bus stand in Berasia. On the basis of the footage of suspicious women found in the CCTV installed in the shop and nearby, the police have added the link and taken three women into custody from Baran district of Rajasthan. During interrogation, the women also confessed to theft.

According to the information received from Berasia police station, three-four women had reached the jewelery shop named Kailash Narayan and Sons located at the bus stand intersection on October 23 at 12 noon. He asked the bullion dealer to show him the gold beads threaded in the mangalsutra. After bargaining for some time, she left without buying anything.

When the shop owner’s staff checked in the evening, a box of gold beads was missing, in which gold beads weighing 65 grams were kept. On the basis of CCTV footage found from the shop, the police had registered a case of theft against an unknown person.

Berasia police station in-charge Arun Sharma said that three teams were formed to solve the case. Collecting footage and other technical evidence, the police reached Baran district of Rajasthan and took the three accused women into custody. They were identified as 30 year old Bunty, 30 year old Gaura and 28 year old Mogiya, residents of Baran. During the search, stolen gold was also recovered from them. Police are interrogating him about other incidents of theft.
