Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister in Hemant Soren government, alleges that the opposition has conspired to make an obscene video call to defame him. The minister has lodged a complaint against unknown people at Chaibasa police station.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of assembly elections in Jharkhand, cases of blackmailing people by making obscene video calls have increased. Especially the leaders are being targeted.
Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, the Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister in the current Hemant Soren government, also escaped becoming a victim. Minister Mithilesh Thakur had reached Chaibasa last Thursday to participate in the Kali Puja organized by the Amla Tola Public Kali Puja Committee of Chaibasa.
During this time he received a video call. When I started the video call, there was a girl in front of me, who was naked and making obscene gestures. The minister immediately stopped the video call.
After this, videos started coming on his second mobile number demanding money and if he did not give it, he started threatening to make the video viral. After this the minister reached Chaibasa police station and lodged a complaint.

BJP promised ‘Gogo Didi Scheme’
The main opposition party in Jharkhand, BJP, has promised the public ‘Gogo Didi Yojana’. Under the scheme, every woman in Jharkhand will be given financial assistance of Rs 2100 on the 11th of every month.
On the lines of Ladli Brahmin Yojana of Madhya Pradesh, the amount of this scheme will also be deposited directly into the accounts. BJP alleges that Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has done nothing for women.
Let us tell you, BJP is going to release its election manifesto for Jharkhand soon. In this, along with ‘Gogo Didi Yojana’, 300 units of free electricity can be announced. BJP can also announce to connect one crore houses with solar energy.
