Fierce dispute between in-laws and maternal side over married woman’s death

According to the information, Jayanti Oraon’s husband Amit Pal Minj was married 2 years ago. However, Jayanti had been living with Amit for two years before marriage. On Friday morning, when Jayanti hanged herself in her house, she was taken down from the noose and brought to the hospital where the doctor declared the victim dead in the preliminary examination itself. The deceased’s husband says that in the morning there was a fight between his mother and his wife, in which he intervened and pacified the matter and went to the shop himself. During this time his wife committed suicide by hanging herself. The deceased’s parents say that her mother-in-law and husband often used to fight with her over the issue of not having a child after marriage. Many times she would run away to her parents’ home. He has alleged that on Friday morning also Jayanti was beaten up by Amit and his mother, an example of which is clearly shown by the injury marks on Amit’s chest.
