The office of the Regional Transport Officer is in front of the headquarters built with the new building.
A new building has been constructed but officials are not yet present in it. Presently Vinod Bhargava is posted alone on the post of Deputy Commissioner Transport. Due to non-availability of the Commissioner and vacancy in the post of Additional Commissioner, the work is getting stuck and even the files are not being taken forward.

Gwalior RTO HK Singh retired on Wednesday. Chhatarpur RTO Vikram Singh Kang has been sent to Gwalior in his place. There is less staff in Gwalior RTO office, due to which many works remain pending at the RTO level also.
