The police will now keep an eye on their activities, especially criminals involved in narcotics and illegal weapons. Data collection will help in early detection in future.
Some criminals are committing the same type of organized crime not once or twice but four or five times, but the police come to know about it only when they are caught. Such criminals will now remain on the police radar. STF will keep an intelligence eye on their every activity. If necessary, cooperation of the district police force will also be taken to keep an eye on some criminals.

Criminals identified in eight categories
Offenders have been marked in eight different categories depending on the nature of the crime. This includes crimes like narcotics, wildlife trafficking, buying and selling of illegal weapons, gambling and betting. Now that they are on the police radar, if they commit crimes again, they will be caught quickly. Along with this, data of such criminals can also be prepared who are committing crimes again and again even after serving a long sentence. The police will focus most on their activities.

The activities of people caught in illegal drug trade will also be monitored during special operations conducted by the Narcotics Branch of the police. A senior STF official said that they have the data of 25 thousand accused and criminals involved in illegal drug trade, in which those who have committed the crime more than twice have been identified.

Four cases were already registered against Harish Anjana of Mandsaur, who was arrested in the MD drug case in Bhopal. After this his steps in illegal drug trade were increasing. Had the police kept a secret watch on him, the matter would have been exposed earlier.
