14 days time, but feels like a month

Samples of mawa, sweets and other substances being taken by the Food Safety Administration team in the district are sent to the laboratory for testing. As per the rules, their test report should be received within 14 days but due to there being only one laboratory and shortage of staff, it takes about a month. Meanwhile, during the festival, all types of food items are sold indiscriminately by traders. Whereas it is not known how much adulteration has been done in them. This is done every year during the festival. Many times it seems as if this food supply is not happening.
