Mahakal Darshan: This system is in force now
- At present devotees are standing in the queue from 10 pm onwards. Bhasma Aarti of Lord Mahakal is performed every morning at 4 am in the Mahakal temple. Around 1700 devotees are allowed daily Bhasma Aarti darshan by the temple committee.
- VIP devotees reach the temple directly at 2 o’clock in the night and enter the temple directly after checking. At the same time, general visitors stand in the queue for darshan from 10 pm onwards. Due to this system, women, children and elderly devotees have to face problems.
- Three days ago, Administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad, who came to do a surprise inspection of the Bhasma Aarti system, saw the problems of the visitors and decided to change the system. Under his guidance, VIP darshan has been planned for the common people also.
Ordinary devotees should come like VIP
Even the common devotee is a VIP in the court of Mahakal. When the devotees covered under the protocol reach the temple at 3 o’clock in the night, then why should the common devotee remain troubled the whole night. Now general visitors will also get the facility of protocol, they will now reach the temple not at 10 pm but at 2 am. After investigation they will be given direct entry into the temple. – Ganesh Kumar Dhakad, Administrator
