The health of one member of the team traveling on a bicycle from Salem district of Tamil Nadu to Delhi deteriorated near Lakhnadon on Tuesday morning, and an air ambulance from Tamil Nadu reached the Forest School of Lakhnadon to take him. From here the unwell cyclist was taken to Tamil Nadu by air ambulance.
55 year old Cyclist’s health deteriorated
Lakhnadon police station in-charge KP Dhurve said that a 55-year-old cyclist Was traveling on bicycle from Salem to Delhi with four to five people. When he reached near Lakhnadon on Tuesday, his health deteriorated. Due to this he fell from the bicycle and got injured. His friends informed his relatives about this. After receiving the information, the relatives arranged for an air ambulance and sent it to Lakhnadon.
Airlift to Hyderabad
The man was airlifted to Hyderabad after the air ambulance VT KNH helicopter landed on the grounds of Lakhnadon Forest School. A car was also traveling with the person, in which the person’s bicycle and other belongings were kept.
In this case, Collector Sanskriti Jain says that information was received about the ill health of a person traveling on a bicycle. His relatives had asked to arrange a place for the air ambulance to land. On this, arrangements were made to land the private air ambulance at Van Vidyalaya of Lakhnadon. PWD immediately did the necessary work to land the air ambulance.
Lakhnadaun police station in-charge said that already there is a helipad in the forest school. PWD department officials did the necessary work for emergency landing. He said that there is no other information including the name of the injured.
