The slain terrorist had one AK 47 rifle, two AK magazines, 57 AK rounds, two pistol magazines and many other dangerous weapons.

Earlier, the Army’s Chinar Corps said that a joint operation was conducted in the area against infiltration. According to the statement, based on intelligence received regarding infiltration, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted this operation in Uri and Baramulla located near the LOC. After noticing suspicious activity, an alert contingent of the army issued a challenge. After this firing started from the front. In response, the soldiers also opened fire.

Earlier, two laborers were killed in a terrorist attack in Ganderbal area. According to officials, this incident happened on Sunday evening. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has condemned these attacks and called them a cowardly act. Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter that there was a cowardly attack on non-local laborers in Gagangir area of ​​Sonamarg area. These people were working on a very important project in the area. Two have been killed and two-three are injured in the terrorist attack. Abdullah wrote that I condemn this attack and send my sympathies to the families of the deceased.

It is noteworthy that seven people including a local doctor were killed and four others were injured in the terrorist attack on Sunday evening in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials said the attack took place at a camp near Gagangir on the Srinagar-Leh highway where local and non-local laborers were working on the construction of the 6.5 km long Z-Morh tunnel project.

According to officials, two terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the workers due to which two non-local workers died on the spot. Nine others, including a local doctor, were injured in the attack. Five injured, including the doctor, later died.
