Bulldozer action took place again today in Madina Colony of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This action is continuing since yesterday against illegal encroachment in which more than 90 houses and shops were demolished. The police administration and municipal team present in large numbers have carried out this operation.

More than half a dozen bulldozers were deployed for this. About 150 police personnel and officers were deployed. Notices were given several times by the district administration regarding removal of encroachment. Despite this, people did not remove the encroachment. In today’s action, about 70 permanent and temporary constructions are being removed. Notices are being given continuously since the year 2021 regarding this illegal encroachment. Despite this no action was being taken.

Illegal occupation of Simhastha’s land

Bulldozers were run on the illegally constructed houses and shops of more than 90 residents of Madina Colony located in Juna Somwariya of Simhastha area of ​​Ujjain city. Before this, the Municipal Corporation had given notices to the residents. Around 9 am on Saturday morning, the municipality team along with the police administration started the action of demolishing the remaining constructions. During this period heavy police force remained deployed. A woman fainted during the operation. He was immediately given first aid and shifted to another place.

Taking major action, the Municipal Corporation has removed the warehouse along with more than 90 houses and shops. This action has been taken in view of the Simhastha to be held in Ujjain. It is being told that Madina had been occupying it for the last many years by making it a colony. The plan to remove this encroachment was going on for a long time. On Saturday morning itself, the police administration and the Municipal Corporation team reached the spot and the work of demolishing the illegal encroachment was started, during which the Municipal Corporation team was present along with a large number of police forces.

Action on 80 houses and 10 warehouses

The joint team of the Municipal Corporation and the police force has taken action against about 80 houses, 10 warehouses and shops. The administration has taken major action regarding the upcoming Simhastha Fair 2028. Many big camps are set up on this land during the Simhastha fair. Residential houses and warehouses had been built in this entire land, which are filled with wood and other materials. To remove all this, the Municipal Corporation is getting the illegal construction done with JCB and Poklane machines.

Earlier on Friday, ADM Anukul Jain said that the district administration has taken major action today to remove the encroachment done on about 3 hectares of Simhastha land of survey number 739/123467, in which the team of Municipal Corporation, District Administration and Police were also involved. . About 80 families had occupied this place illegally. But in some cases, the action was stopped earlier due to the stay of the court, therefore, except in such cases, a campaign has been started to vacate the land of the entire area.

Additional SP Nitesh Bhargava said that action is going on since morning. The work of removing illegal encroachment is going on. No one has protested so far. A total police force of 120 people including 1 Additional SP, 2 DSPs, TIs of 6 police stations, 10 Sub Inspectors, 25 women police forces were involved in the operation.
