Administration demolished 50 houses in Ujjain, notices were given for 4 years to vacate government land

The district administration in Ujjain on Saturday demolished 50 illegal houses in Juna Somwariya, worth more than Rs 100 crore. The administration had made efforts to vacate the land for four years. The affected people are accusing colonizer Rafiq Khan of fraud, who settled them on illegal land.

On Saturday, the district administration demolished 50 houses on government land behind Hela Jamat Khana in Juna Somwariya by using poklane. The value of the land is said to be more than Rs 100 crore. Tehsildar Rupali Jain said that the administration had been trying for four years to vacate this land. Action has been taken only after completing the legal notices etc. No one has been given the benefit of displacement.

fraud with people

Colonizer Rafiq Khan had registered the people at X location and settled them at Z location. For this, money was taken in installments. The Municipal Corporation had also registered a case against the concerned in the police station in 2021. At present Rafiq is out on bail.

paid in monthly installments

The affected people say that Rafiq Khan had given the task of cutting the colony to Sher Bahadur, Israel and Parvez. The plot was given for Rs 2.5 lakh. Most people had paid the money in monthly installments. The colonizer settled the people on land survey number 739/1 and got the registry survey number 739/1 done. Means cheating people. In this whole serious matter, innocent people lost their money and their houses but till now nothing has happened to the colonizer.

The action was taken by SDM LN Garg, Tehsildar Jain with the help of Municipal Corporation and Police Force. Let us tell you that a day ago the Municipal Corporation had demolished the houses built due to encroachment in Simhastha area. Tehsildar says that 91 houses have been demolished in two days. The action to remove illegal construction and encroachment in Simhastha area will continue further.
