This time, due to the initial two opinions regarding the date of Diwali, the traders of Indore city had earlier announced to celebrate it on November 1. After this, now they have changed their decision and decided to celebrate it on 31st October. The big traders association of the city has said to celebrate it on 31st October only.

The confusion and fog surrounding the date of Diwali, the biggest festival of the year, has been cleared. All the markets of Indore have unanimously decided to celebrate Diwali on 31st October. Earlier, Siyaganj Traders Association had declared Diwali on November 1 with the opinion of Vidvat Parishad and Astrology Council of Indore.

Some pundits of the council had also reached out to the traders association to fix the date. However, after this the bullion market announced to celebrate Diwali on 31st October. Two days ago, Maharaja Tukojirao Cloth Market Merchant Association also fixed the date as 31st October.

Now there is no doubt about the festival

Siyaganj Traders Association met again on Wednesday and the traders rejected November 1 and announced to celebrate Diwali on October 31. With all the big markets of the city coming together unanimously, there is no longer any doubt regarding the festival in the city.

In fact, even though the Siyaganj Traders Association had announced the date of November 1 under the pressure of the Academic Council’s opinion, the traders were internally unhappy with it. Traders had opined that the entire city and country was celebrating Dhanteras on 29 October.

Next day is Yam Chaturdashi, hence Diwali will be on the next day. Who would wait for a day after Chaturdashi and celebrate Diwali? In terms of Pradoshkaal also, the new moon night is on 31st October. When the announcement of October 31 was made from Ujjain, Kashi, Ayodhya and other religious cities, Indore also agreed.

All the Vaishya organizations of the state also gave their consent.

Madhya Pradesh Vaishya Mahasammelan has decided to celebrate Diwali, the festival of Mahalakshmi worship, on 31st October. Vaishya components and business institutions of all the major cities of the state associated with the Vaishya Mahasammelan organization have also announced to celebrate Diwali Mahaparva on 31st October.

State General Secretary of the organization Arvind Bagri said that for some time there has been a situation of difference of opinion or controversy among scholars and pundits regarding the dates of celebrating Diwali.

Most of the almanacs and scholars of Kashi have also expressed unanimous consent on the date of 31 October. On this basis, Vaishya organizations, markets and business institutions have expressed their resolve to worship Diwali and follow other traditions on 31st October.

Muhurat deals will be held on November 4

There will be a three-day holiday after Diwali in Siyaganj, Cloth Market and all other markets. On November 4, auspicious deals will be made in various markets including Siyaganj and Cloth Market. Business will start at the auspicious time in the afternoon on November 4.
