On the one hand, regarding Diwali, Railways is running special trains to take the passengers to their destination. At the same time, he is also very cautious about their safety. Now checking is being done at various places at the stations. Along with this, a ban has been imposed on carrying flammable items inside trains.

Keeping in mind the increased crowd of passengers in railway station premises and trains during Diwali as well as other festivals, RPF and GRP are jointly maintaining vigil. The luggage, tickets, name-address and ID proof of passengers coming to and from the station premises and traveling in trains are being checked.

During this period, restrictions have been imposed on flammable items at the station, which include fuel, oil, paint, fireworks, explosive substances, flammable liquids like kerosene or chemicals, compressed gas cylinders and other dangerous items.

Strict monitoring is being done by the Railway Protection Force in Bhopal Railway Division. This step has been taken for the safety of passengers and to prevent incidents of arson.

Keeping an eye on CCTV cameras

Several measures are being taken by the Railway Protection Force to ensure security. Passengers’ luggage is being checked regularly. Activities are being monitored through CCTV cameras.

Sniffer dogs are also being used to detect contraband. Along with this, announcements are also being made at stations and trains to make passengers aware of these rules.

Report suspicious activity to RPF

Resolution of 12,858 complaints of railway passengers

In Bhopal division, complaints of passengers are being heard 24 hours through war room. Apart from this, their solution is also being done through Rail Madad Portal App. Apart from this, complaints are resolved within half an hour, after resolution, feedback is taken from them, so that the quality of services can be further improved.

So far, 12,858 complaints have been resolved from June 17 to October. War Room was launched on 24th, with the objective of ensuring speedy disposal of passengers’ complaints. The solution is happening in this war room.

A total of 12,858 complaints were resolved from June 17 to October 11 and feedback was also taken from passengers. It may be noted that helpline 139 has been linked to Rail Aid to assist the passengers. Along with this, this number has been brought to the Rail Madad platform by integrating all the complaint portals, so that complaints can be received on time.
