Long discussion between Rahul Gandhi and Kamal Nath, possibility of getting big responsibility in MP


Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath had a long discussion with Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, in which the assembly elections and the activism of the organization were discussed. Kamal Nath has not yet been assigned any organizational responsibility, but he may get the responsibility of coordinating allies in the upcoming elections. Umang Singhar has been made the senior coordinator of Vidarbha.

Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath had a long discussion with Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday. Kamal Nath does not have any responsibility of the organization after the assembly elections. It is expected that he may be given the responsibility of coordinating with allies in the upcoming assembly elections.

State Congress officials say that Rahul Gandhi had reached Kamal Nath’s residence to meet him. Over lunch, there was a long discussion between the two on preparations for the upcoming assembly elections and other issues including increasing the organization’s activism in the state.

After the assembly elections, Kamal Nath was removed from the post of State Congress President and Jitu Patwari was made the President. Even in the Lok Sabha elections, Kamal Nath remained limited to Chhindwara. However, it was on his initiative that the Block Congress and Assembly Presidents were changed.

Umang Singhar made senior coordinator of Vidarbha

On the other hand, All India Congress Committee has appointed senior coordinators of different regions for Maharashtra elections. In this, Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Umang Singhar has been made the coordinator of Vidarbha (Amravati and Nagpur) region. Before this, Kunal Chaudhary, the chief spokesperson of the state Congress, has been made the national secretary and in-charge of Maharashtra.
