The joy of Dussehra is being seen all over the country. Everywhere people have burnt Ravana with festive fervor. Political circles also did not stay away from this festival. In Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu also attended the Dussehra program at the Parade Ground of Red Fort on Saturday evening. The organizers of Shri Dharmik Leela Samiti formally welcomed the President by presenting him a trident and a mace to the Prime Minister in the Dussehra program. He was also presented with a bow and arrows as a symbol of “power and good governance”. Murmu and Modi witnessed the staging of Ramleela depicting the end of Ravana at the hands of Lord Ram. After this, the effigies of Ravana, his son Meghnad and brother Kumbhakarna were burnt amidst loud cheering of the crowd.

Apart from PM Modi and President Murmu in Delhi, other politicians across the country also visited Ravana Dahan on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi also reached the Red Fort to watch the Ravana Dahan program.
Chief Minister saw Ravana burning in Bihar
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary attended the Dussehra celebrations being held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
Outgoing CM Saini reached Haryana’s Panchkula to witness Ravana Dahan.
Haryana’s newly appointed Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also present on the occasion of Ravana Dahan going on in Panchkula.
A 30-foot statue of Ravana was also burnt in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. During this, Farooq Abdullah of National Conference participated in the program at Parade Ground Stadium.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who attended the Dussehra celebrations in Amritsar, said in a post on ‘X’, “Congratulations to everyone on the holy festival of Dussehra, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Let us resolve to follow the path of goodness and truth and work together to eliminate evil from our society and lives.
