A newly married couple committed suicide in Chamraua of Khaniyadhana police station area. The wife’s body was hanging, while the young man’s body was lying on the ground. Only three months ago, both of them had a love marriage with the consent of the family. Police have recovered the bodies of both and started investigating the case.

23-year-old Vinod Jatav Sal, resident of Marua, and his 21-year-old wife Anjali were at home together. When he did not wake up on Friday morning, his family members knocked on the door to wake him up. Even after this, no sound came from inside so he peeped inside through the window.
On looking inside, it was found that Anjali’s body was hanging and Vinod’s body was lying on the ground. The matter was informed to the police, after which TI Suresh Sharma along with Tehsildar Shivam Gupta reached the spot, got the panchnama made and broke the gate. The body was recovered.

Khaniyadhana TI Suresh Sharma says that Anjali was a resident of Delhi, when she fell in love, Anjali reached Khaniyadhana in search of Vinod. Anjali expressed to her parents as well as Vinod’s parents that she wanted to marry him. About three months ago, they were married with the consent of both their families.

According to the police, something was written on the wall before their death, but it is not clear what was written. Apart from this, notebooks and pens were found in the room, but no suicide note was found.
Father had returned just a few days ago
According to the police, after marriage, Vinod’s parents went to Gujarat to work as laborers and both husband and wife were living in Chamraua. A few days ago, Vinod’s father returned to the village from farming work but his mother is still in Gujarat. Before the incident, Vinod’s father Raghuveer was on the farm. He received information about the suicide of his son and daughter-in-law through the village and family members.
The deceased had a debt of Rs 2.5 lakh
Police say that during initial interrogation it has come to light that Vinod had taken a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh from the market for the marriage. The villagers believe that due to the said debt, he might have committed suicide due to the debt, the wife might have hanged herself after seeing her husband dead.
