Congressmen sat cross legged in road potholes, thousands of vehicles pass through here every day in Indore.

A unique demonstration of Congress regarding potholes on the road was seen in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where Congress leaders themselves sat cross-legged in the potholes. According to the information, two women councilors sat on strike this morning over the huge potholes on the road in Vikas Nagar on the road leading from Atal Dwar to Lakshmi Memorial Hospital. Councilors Sonila Mimrot and Shaifu Verma have said that the protest will continue until the mayor comes and the work of filling the potholes starts.

It is noteworthy that this road is ward no. Comes in 45 and 46. Congress has women councilors in both these wards, Shaifu Verma and Sonila Mimrot. Former Congress councilor Badshah Mimrot said that for many days the corporation officials have been requested to fill the potholes on this road but since he is a Congress councilor they are not doing the work. The public is having to suffer the consequences of this.

More than 50 thousand vehicles pass through this route every day. This road is the main road connecting MIG Main Road to Palasia. This is a priority for the drivers going towards Janjeerwala intersection, but during the rains, this road has developed huge potholes. No hearing is taking place. Officials are deliberately not paying attention. Today, under the leadership of councilors Sonila Mimrot and Shaifu Verma, a large number of residents sat on strike today.

Councilor Mimrot said that the protest will continue until the mayor himself comes and the work of filling potholes on the road starts. The potholes are so big that a vehicle accident can prove fatal.
