Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today performed Bhoomi Pujan, laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth crores in Surajpur district. Chief Minister Shri Sai performed the bhoomi pujan/foundation stone of 7 works constructed at a cost of Rs 68.7725 crore and inaugurated 27 works constructed at a cost of Rs 57.1634 crore under the Public Works Department, Surajpur.
The Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony/foundation stone of 3 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 44.82 lakh under Rural Engineering Service, Surajpur, laid the foundation stone/lay of 01 work to be constructed at a cost of Rs 43 lakh under Chhattisgarh Housing Board and 04 works constructed at a cost of Rs 57.52 lakh. Along with the inauguration of the works, Bhoomipujan/foundation stone of 5 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 18.6980 crore under Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Surajpur, Bhoomipujan/foundation stone of 18 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.3047 crore under Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Surajpur, Chief Executive Officer performed the bhoomi pujan/foundation stone of 23 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5559 crore under District Panchayat Pratappur.

Groundbreaking/foundation laying and inauguration of 03 works at a cost of Rs 36.18 lakhs, groundbreaking/foundation laying of 08 works at a cost of Rs 1.0759 crore under Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Premnagar, ground breaking/foundation laying of 5 works at a cost of Rs 12.7529 crore under Executive Engineer Water Resources, Surajpur. Foundation stone laying and inauguration of 03 works at a cost of Rs 10.18 crore, Bhoomipujan/foundation stone laying of 13 works at a cost of Rs 45 lakh under Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Department, Surajpur, Inauguration of 05 works at a cost of Rs 1.6893 crore under Executive Engineer Chhattisgarh Medical Services Limited, Ambikapur. , Under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 2 works were inaugurated at a cost of Rs. 3.4271 crore, under Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana, 05 works were inaugurated at a cost of Rs. 1.2096 crore, under Municipal Council Surajpur, 2 works were inaugurated at a cost of Rs. 2.04 crore.
