Bhopal Police has registered a case against four people for beating a BJP councilor in front of everyone and extorting money. Police have registered a case against three women and one man. A video of three women attacking Ward No. 48 councilor Arvind Verma has surfaced. The BJP councilor has released a video and said that the incident that happened to him was a conspiracy. Earlier, BJP had issued a notice to Verma seeking clarification in this matter.
Chunabhatti Police Station Inspector Bhupendra Kaur Sindhu, while talking to PTI, told about the people who registered the case. On the complaint of Councilor Arvind Verma, a case has been registered against Paras Meena, his wife and mother and another woman of the family. The allegation against them is that these people have beaten, threatened and abused Arvind Verma.
Apart from this, the police have said that a complaint has also been filed on behalf of Meena. Meena has alleged in the complaint that the councilor was extorting money from her. Police said that we are investigating both sides. Regarding the video going viral, Bhopal BJP Unit President Sumit Pachauri said that it has tarnished the image of the party. In this case it has been said that Verma has to give evidence along with written reply within three days. While releasing the video, the councilor had said that the person conspired against me and carried it out with the help of the women of the house.
Police have registered complaints from both the parties. Based on this the matter is being investigated. It is expected that the real reason behind the matter will be revealed soon. With this we will know who among the councilor or Meena family is telling the truth and who is lying…
