Canadian Hindu MP Chandra Arya recently expressed strong concern over the conspiracies being spread by Khalistani extremists in the Canadian Parliament. He also said that Khalistanis are polluting Canadian society. His statement comes at a time when a petition has been filed on the website of the Canadian Parliament demanding a re-investigation of the Air India Flight 182 blast that took place 39 years ago. This bomb blast was carried out by Khalistani extremists in Canada, in which 329 people were killed. This incident is the largest massacre in Canadian history.
MP Chandra Arya said in his statement, “39 years ago Air India Flight 182 was blown up in the air by a bomb planted by Khalistani extremists in Canada. 329 innocent people lost their lives in this attack. Even today, supporters of the ideology that claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack are present among us.” He also said that after this attack, Canada conducted two investigations and Khalistani extremists were held responsible for this bomb blast. Now, a fresh investigation is being sought through a petition, which gives rise to the conspiracy propagated by Khalistani extremists.
Responding to the issue, the husband of a woman who died in the accident has expressed disappointment. MP Chandra Arya tweeted his statement given in the Parliament and said that Mr. Bal Gupta’s wife Rama was killed in this attack. “It is extremely disappointing,” Gupta told the Globe and Mail newspaper. It is making our old wounds green again. All this is rubbish. “This is an attempt to garner publicity and support for terrorist activities.” On June 23, 1985, an Air India Kanishka flight from Delhi to Vancouver exploded and all 329 people on board were killed. The bomb planted in the Kanishka aircraft exploded while the aircraft was flying over the west coast of Ireland.
Earlier, this prominent Canadian MP stressed that Canadian society is being “polluted” by Khalistani extremists who are “abusing” the freedoms guaranteed under the Charter of Rights. “Our land is being polluted by Khalistani extremists who are abusing our freedoms guaranteed by our Canadian Charter of Rights,” Chandra Arya said.
This statement comes amid increasing concerns about Khalistani activities between India and Canada. Khalistani extremists are not only a threat to the security of Canada, but are also challenging the sovereignty and integrity of India. The Canadian MP taking a strong stance on this issue is important not only for the Indian community but also for the families of victims of terrorism. This statement of Chandra Arya is a clear message to those who are trying to support terrorist ideologies. India has also many times demanded strict action against Khalistani extremists, who are promoting their activities by taking refuge in Canada. In such a situation, pressure is increasing on the Canadian government to take strict action against the elements promoting such conspiracies.
