The accident occurred when CM Vishnudev Sai’s convoy was passing in front of Durg District Hospital. While passing through here, suddenly a cow came in front of Chief Minister Sai’s convoy and two vehicles of the convoy suddenly collided. However, the vehicle in which Chief Minister Sai was sitting had a narrow escape. Chief Minister Sai is completely safe in this incident, he has not suffered any injury.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai had come to Durg today to attend a program. He has performed Bhoomi Pujan of development work worth Rs 22 crore 97 lakh in Durg. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Durg MP Vijay Baghel were present in the program along with Vishnudev Sai. MLA Gajendra Yadav, Durg Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal were also present. The news of collision between the vehicles of Chhattisgarh CM’s convoy created a stir. However, when it was revealed that the CM was completely safe, people heaved a sigh of relief.

Later, Vishnudev Sai emerged as the Chief Minister of the state and has been holding the post of Chief Minister since then.
