A vehicle carrying CRPF jawans overturned at Bastanar turn in Kodenar police station area in Jagdalpur on Sunday afternoon. Some jawans were also injured in this accident, who were taken to a nearby hospital.
Giving information about the incident, police officials said that around 20 to 25 CRPF jawans were present, who were going from Dornapal to Barsoor, on Sunday afternoon, at the first turn of Bastanar Ghat, the driver suddenly lost control.
Immediately after the incident, Geedam police station in-charge Dhananjay Sinha along with Kodenar police station in-charge Mohammad Tariq reached the spot and the injured were brought to Geedam hospital for better treatment. Three jawans were seriously injured, all of them are said to be from CRPF’s 223, 74 and 171 battalions. Other injured CRPF jawans were given first aid.
