Use of sanitary pads protects against many diseases. All women should use pads. Women should develop the habit of using sanitary pads to stay healthy. The above thoughts were expressed by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Mrs. Krishna Gaur, at the free sanitary pad distribution program organized in Govindpura Industrial Area under the Swasth Nari-Swasth Samaj program.
State Minister Smt. Gaur said that those sisters who are not using sanitary pads, should start using them and make it a habit to always use pads. She said that to make pads a habit of women, free pads are being distributed for three months’ usage. State Minister Smt. Gaur said that pads can be purchased from Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at a nominal price of one rupee per pad. She said that the biggest happiness is a healthy body. Use of pads gives a healthy body.
State Minister Smt. Gaur said that every woman wants her children to study and become good citizens. She said that it is our responsibility to make children cultured citizens by giving them good values. Respect the elders in the family too. She said that give the values ​​of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna to the children. State Minister Smt. Gaur explained the importance of good values ​​with the help of incidents from Ramayana. State Minister Smt. Gaur said that God has given power to women. They should use power against injustice and exploitation. She said that the government takes strict action against those who commit atrocities against sisters and daughters on the land of Madhya Pradesh. If anyone gets information about atrocities against sisters and daughters, then he should immediately bring it to notice. There should be no atrocities against sisters and daughters. State Minister Smt. Gaur gave information about social values ​​while mentioning Ganesh festival, Shraddha Paksha and Navdurga festival.
State Minister Smt. Gaur appreciated the work of distributing sanitary pads by Krishna Samajik Sanskrutik Sanstha. She informed that the Sanstha is also helping women in becoming financially self-dependent and establishing self-employment. Thousands of women including Smt. Kiran Khare, Smt. Shiromani Sharma, Smt. Mamta Vishwakarma, Smt. Urmila Maurya, Smt. Savita Thakur, Smt. Chhaya Thakur, Smt. Lakshmi Thakur, Smt. Sadhna Tiwari, Smt. Chetna Parmar, Smt. Pooja Yadav, Harsha Pandey, Purnima were present in the free pad distribution program. Daughters also gave cultural presentations in the program.
