Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, has said that Tirupati laddus were distributed as prasad during the consecration of Ram Lalla. The consecration of Ram Mandir took place on 22 January in Ayodhya. During this, laddus were ordered from Tirupati itself for distribution of prasad to the devotees. An inquiry has been ordered regarding the ghee used in the laddus of Tirupati Balaji’s Mahaprasadam. CM Chandrababu Naidu had claimed on the basis of the report that before his government was formed, ghee adulterated with cow and pig fat was used in the laddus made for the prasad of Tirupati Balaji temple.
Acharya Satyendra said, I do not know how many laddus were ordered. The trust will know about it. But whatever laddus came were distributed among the devotees. The report that has come out is pointing towards a big conspiracy. India Today’s report says that one lakh laddus were sent by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board for the Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed the consecration of the Ram temple. 8000 celebrities had participated on this occasion. On the other hand, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra says that cardamom was distributed as prasad during the consecration of the Ram temple. Trust general secretary Champat Rai said that he is waiting for the investigation report of the Center regarding Tirupati laddus. Only cardamom was distributed among the devotees. I have been to Tirupati only once in 1981. In such a situation, I cannot comment on this controversy.
Let us tell you that after the Tirupati issue became hot, the prasad of many temples across the country is being investigated. The administration of the Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya also says that only laddus made of desi ghee are offered here.
Sankat Mochan Sena president Sanjay Das said, only branded company ghee is used. All the shopkeepers who are our tenants make laddus in the same way. The purity of ghee is also checked from time to time. If any deficiency is found, the shop is closed.
