Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Arun Saw reached Raipur this morning after a study tour of America. On his return to the capital, he was given a grand and warm welcome at Swami Vivekananda Airport. Deputy Chief Minister Saw said that during his study tour of America, he visited five major cities and discussed with technical experts about the technology of road construction and maintenance of roads, the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in them and the construction of bridges. He studied the techniques used in construction works in big cities of America along with Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh. Saw also visited construction sites and green-field roads in America. Describing his visit as very beneficial, he said that the techniques which can be used in the conditions of Chhattisgarh will definitely be implemented here.
During his study tour, Saav attended the closing ceremony of the Indian Swadeshi Mela held in Chicago as the chief guest. He said that during his visit to America, he met and talked to a large number of Indians and especially people from Chhattisgarh in all the cities. Many people from Chhattisgarh are living there and are making the state proud. Saav said that he has invited the people of Chhattisgarh living in America, people from other states of India and American people to come to Chhattisgarh to see the natural beauty and places of religious-mythological importance and to understand the culture and civilization here.
