Under the National Ayush Mission, approval has been given for the establishment of 5 new government Ayurveda colleges and 2 new 50-bed Ayush hospitals in the state. Higher Education, Technical Education and Ayush Minister Inder Singh Parmar has thanked the Government of India for this. Minister Parmar said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state government is working with commitment to provide quality health facilities to the citizens. A healthy, prosperous and developed Madhya Pradesh is taking shape under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Our goal is the fulfillment of people’s aspirations and all-round progress of the state. Minister Parmar said that the establishment of new government Ayurveda colleges and Ayush hospitals in various districts of the state will expand Ayush medical studies and Ayush health services. Students will have access to the study of Ayurveda medical system and quality Ayush treatment will also be easily available to the citizens.
Ayush Minister Parmar informed that under the National Ayush Mission Scheme, an amount of about Rs 70 crore has been approved for the establishment of each college. In this way, a total amount of Rs 350 crore has been approved for the state for the establishment of new government Ayurveda colleges. Under this, government Ayurveda colleges will be established in Sagar, Shahdol, Balaghat, Narmadapuram and Morena districts of the state, with this, now government Ayurveda colleges will be established in all the divisions of the state. Parmar informed that with the establishment of a government Ayurveda college in Balaghat, a tribal dominated area full of medicinal plants, students will be able to study, research and get quality Ayurveda medical facilities easily. More and more opportunities will be available for research and research in the research of medicinal plants found in the tribal area and the ancient Ayurveda medical system prevalent in the area. Parmar informed that in the first phase, hospital buildings will be constructed for the upgradation of Ayush hospitals in these districts.
Ayush Minister Parmar informed that with the objective of making Ayush medical facilities accessible to the masses and promoting cultivation of medicinal plants, funds have been sanctioned for the establishment of 50-bed Ayush hospitals in Shujalpur, famous for farmers and the market, and Sheopur, a PVTG (Special Backward Tribal Group) tribal area. In this, an amount of about Rs 15 crore has been sanctioned for the establishment of each Ayush hospital.
