Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman will launch the NPS Vatsalya Yojana in New Delhi today. NPS Vatsalya programs will be organized at about 75 places in the country along with New Delhi. People from other places will join this program through video conference. In this series, the State Level Bankers Committee is organizing NPS Vatsalya Yojana in Raipur, Durg and Bilaspur of Chhattisgarh in collaboration with NABARD. This program will be organized from 01.30 pm to 04.00 pm at Brahmavid Global School, Bhatgaon, Raipur, Manhat Posudas Government High School, Surpa-Patan, District Durg and Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School, Tarabahar, Bilaspur. School children will participate in this program along with their parents. NPS Vatsalya will allow parents to save for the future of their children by investing in a pension account and ensure long-term wealth.

NPS Vatsalya offers flexible contribution and investment options, allowing parents to invest as little as Rs 1,000 annually in the name of the child, making it accessible to families from all economic backgrounds. This new initiative has been launched to secure the financial future of children, which is a significant step in India’s pension system. The scheme will be run under the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). The launch of NPS Vatsalya reflects the Government of India’s commitment to promote long-term financial planning and security for all. It is a big step towards making India’s future generations more financially secure and independent.
