In the main program to be held in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will join the program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday online. The Chief Minister will symbolically do Griha Pravesh for the beneficiaries in Bhopal. At the same time, the ministers in charge in the districts, MLAs, MPs will join the program online and do Griha Pravesh for the beneficiaries in their respective districts.
In Madhya Pradesh, the state government will conduct Grihapravesh for 50 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Urban and Rural on September 17. At the same time, 10 lakh new houses will be built in the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0. After the approval of the Government of India, the state government has started its preparation.
On 17th September, on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will do the griha pravesh of PM houses to 50 thousand beneficiaries from Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium, Bhopal. At the same time, Chief Minister Yadav will also inaugurate the Swachhata Pakhwada in Madhya Pradesh.
The target in MP was 38 lakh 415 houses, 37 lakh have been built
- To fulfill the hopes of poor families who cherish the dream of having their own house, Madhya Pradesh had got a target of constructing 38 lakh 415 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). So far, about 37 lakh houses have been constructed.
- Under the scheme, housing is being provided to the homeless by constructing flats in cities too. PM Modi believes that the key to a home opens the door to respect, self-confidence, a secure future, a new identity and increasing possibilities.
- With this thought in mind, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) was started in 2016. The government has set a target to provide pucca houses along with basic amenities to the needy families in rural areas by 2024.
Cleanliness fortnight also started
Under the Swachhata Pakhwada, a campaign will be run from village to city. It will start from the birthday of Prime Minister Modi and the fortnight will end on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
