Due to the efforts being made by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for investment in Madhya Pradesh, while on one hand a series of regional industry conclaves are going on in the state, on the other hand road shows are being organised in big cities outside the state to attract industrialists to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s next stop for investment is Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, where he will meet industrialists from India and abroad in the Global Investors Summit to be held on 20 September. The innovations being made continuously to make Madhya Pradesh economically strong will accelerate industrial development and increase employment opportunities. To promote industrial development, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has declared the year 2025 as the “Industry Year”. Global Investors Summit is being organised in Bhopal on 7-8 February at the beginning of the year 2025. Along with this, efforts will be made as a mission for industrial development in the state throughout the year.
The interactive session in Kolkata will be held on September 20, 2024 at Hotel JW Marriott. Kolkata is one of the major industrial hubs of the country with diverse sectors such as steel, plastics, food processing, pharmaceuticals and textiles. Leading industrialists from various sectors based in the West Bengal region are being invited to the proposed interactive session.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will present his views to the industrialists in interactive sessions, outlining the government’s vision and innovations for sustainable promotion of investment, innovation and economic growth in Madhya Pradesh. Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion will make a presentation on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, which will provide valuable information to investors looking for business prospects in the state. Leading industrialists from various sectors will also share their insights on the state’s industrial scenario and growth prospects. The event will provide a platform for investors to connect with key stakeholders, participate in one-to-one discussions and network with industry representatives. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also discuss important points with industrialists in one-to-one meetings and over lunch with CEOs.
The state government has started a single window system to facilitate industrialists, which will play a decisive role in promoting industrial development. This event is an excellent opportunity to explore the immense investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh. As a result of the discussions in these interactive sessions, investors will be inspired to invest in the state, which will create employment opportunities along with economic development in the state.
Discussions held with industrialists in Mumbai, Coimbatore and Bangalore during interactive sessions have attracted industrialists to invest in Madhya Pradesh. As a result, many industrialists have also signed MoUs to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the continuous efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, adequate arrangements have been made to provide facilities to industrialists easily. Madhya Pradesh’s strong industrial infrastructure, natural resources, sufficient land bank, network of roads, connectivity with all major states etc. are attracting investors to set up industries in MP.
