The body of a woman was found hanging from a noose in CSEB Colony Pathripara in Korba. This morning when the husband saw his wife’s body hanging from the noose, he informed the police. The police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. The deceased woman has been identified as Kamla Bai (40). There is no information about why she took this step.
The deceased woman’s husband Tantiram is a guard of the Excise Department and works at the Rampur liquor shop located on Balco Road. It was told that a total of four people live in the house. The husband and wife were sleeping in the room at night. On Sunday morning, when the husband woke up, he called his wife. When there was no response, he went from the back and checked the room. Then it was found that she was hanging from the noose. Tantiram told that for the last few years he works as a guard in the liquor shop located in Rampur. On Saturday night, when he returned home from work, both of them had dinner together and then went to sleep in the room. They talked about the family for a long time. In the morning, when the husband woke up, the wife was not there. After which he came out in the courtyard and saw, he was shocked. She was hanging from the noose of sari on the pipe in the courtyard of the house. The husband told that for the last three months, the behavior of the wife had suddenly changed. She often used to watch religious things on the mobile and did not go out of the house. When she went out, she used to say that she does not like it. On receiving information about the woman’s body hanging from a noose, the Civil Line Police team reached the spot and started investigation. The reasons related to the incident are being investigated. Further investigation will be done in this case on the basis of inquiry and post-mortem report.
