Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today reviewed in detail the works of National Highway, National Highway Authority of India, Highway and Mineral and Telecommunication related projects under various districts of the state at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here. The Chief Secretary directed the collector of the concerned district to expedite the work related to land acquisition, compensation distribution, tree felling and plantation of trees for other projects including road construction works.
In the meeting, other works including Bilaspur-Urga road, Raipur-Durg four line falling under Bilaspur-Korba and Janjgir-Champa districts under National Highway Authority of India project were reviewed in detail. Similarly, works of other roads including Raipur-Visakhapatnam-Bharatmala project were reviewed. Similarly, works of Gebra Pendra Road, New Rail Project, Talapalli Mineral Project and other projects were reviewed in detail and he said that ensure completion of the works at a fast pace.
In this meeting held through video conference, Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Climate Change Department Mrs. Richa Sharma, Secretary Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary Revenue Department Avinash Champawat along with BSNL, Railways, NTPC, National Highways Authority of India, Public Works Department (NH) and Collectors of Korba, Raigarh, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Bilaspur, Durg, Mahasamund and other districts participated.
