Emphasis on maximum public participation in Clean India Mission
Workshop held for Swachh Survey

The Urban Administration and Development Department organized a workshop at the R.C.V.P. Noronha Academy of Administration, focusing on Swachh Survey-2024 for the effective implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission in urban areas of the state.
In the workshop, the officers and employees of the department shared their experiences for the preparation and implementation of Swachh Survekshan-2024. Through these workshops, the departmental staff was given information on topics like Swachh Survey, solid waste management, water management etc. in urban body areas. The participants were told that public participation is very important for the better implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission.
In the training workshop, 447 officers and employees of 214 urban bodies were trained. During the training, the participants were shown the Jugaad from Junk, STP Transfer Station and processing units located in Bhopal. The participants were told that the Swachhata program should be given the form of a mass movement. In this, public participation of men and women, youth and students should also be ensured.
