In the last few days, incidents of finding insects and strange things in food items are increasing. Many times people even fall sick after eating these contaminated things. Now in this episode, a news has come from Malad, Mumbai. A person here found a cockroach in his cold coffee. Not only this, when he complained about this to the cafe staff, they also refused to accept their mistake.
According to a report in Times of India, the incident happened on the night of August 30 at around 9.30 pm. Actually, the 25-year-old event manager and his friend went to a cafe located on New Link Road near the mall. There they ordered cold coffee which was served in two glasses. After this, the young man found the coffee very bitter and he complained to the waiter. After that the man added sugar to it. Later, while finishing the coffee, he saw something at the bottom of the glass. He was shocked as soon as he saw the cockroach.
Staff refused to admit fault
After this, the man took a picture of the cockroach so that he could complain. He called the cafe staff and complained about it. However, the staff refused to accept the mistake. The staff took him to the kitchen of the cafe where he was shown that the coffee was made in a shaker and there was no place for the cockroach to enter it. After this the staff threw away the cockroach.
Police is investigating the matter
After the cafe did not take any action, the man went to the Malad police station and complained about his coffee being adulterated due to the negligence of the cafe staff. Malad police have registered an FIR against the coffee owner and staff and the matter is being investigated.
