Female Naxalites killed in the encounter have been identified, all three had a total bounty of Rs 18 lakh on them


The three female naxalites killed in the encounter in the forests of Kanker bordering Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh have been identified. A total reward of Rs 18 lakh was declared on the three naxalites.

Giving information about this, Bastar Police Inspector General Sundarraj P said that in the encounter, Naxalite Lakshmi of PLGA Company No. 5, with a reward of Rs 8 lakh, Savita, ACM of Partapur Area Committee, with a reward of Rs 5 lakh, and Shanta, ACM of Partapur Area Committee, with a reward of Rs 5 lakh, were killed.

After the encounter on Thursday, the bodies of 3 armed female uniformed Maoists were recovered from different places on the spot. Apart from this, 303 rifles, two 315 rifles, one BGL launcher, one Bharmar gun, a large amount of explosives and other daily useful items of the Naxalites were recovered from near these bodies.

The IG said that under the ‘Maad Bachao Abhiyan’, the security forces are continuously conducting operations in Abujhmad. Let us tell you that the three female Naxalites about whom the police has given information, were killed by the soldiers in an encounter on Thursday morning.
