Supreme Court lawyers stand with Shahzad Ali, ready to fight the case; angry over bulldozer action

While many people are justifying the bulldozer action on the mansion worth crores of rupees of Shahzad Ali, the main accused of the attack on the police station in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, some are opposing it calling it illegal. Supreme Court lawyer Mehmood Pracha is also among those who feel that the administration has done injustice by demolishing Shahzad Ali’s house. Pracha has said that all the officers who have demolished the house will be jailed. Pracha even blamed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and said that he is ready to fight the case of all those people including Shahzad Ali of Chhatarpur who have been sent to jail.

Mahmood Pracha, who is fighting the case of the Muslim side in the Delhi riots, expressed his displeasure on social media over the demolition of Shahzad Ali’s house. He also wants to visit the place in Chhatarpur where Ali’s mansion once stood. Pracha wrote on his X handle with a picture of Ali’s demolished mansion that he wants to visit that place, can anyone help. He further said, ‘I don’t want to go just to show my sympathy but to take strict legal action against the guilty government and police officials. I am only asking for help in establishing contact for this work.’

Meanwhile, while talking to a YouTube channel, Pracha said that if he is contacted, he is ready to fight the case. Pracha said that the officials can be jailed for demolishing the house. Pracha said, ‘If legal action is taken for the bulldozer action that happened in Chhatarpur, we can easily get those who are in jail released, because these are false cases, the real challenge is that we get life imprisonment for those officials who have done unconstitutional work. Their political masters will have to be sent to jail, only then will the bulldozer rule stop.’

Pracha said that he wants to go to Chhatarpur, but has not gone yet because no one has come forward as a party. Pracha said that if anyone becomes a party and contacts him, he is ready to fight the case. Pracha also said that the Chief Minister has not yet condemned this incident, so he is also guilty. He said that every person who believes in the Constitution should stand against this action. Pracha said that it is a right to go peacefully to register an FIR. Pracha said that he does not believe that stones were pelted at the police station and even if it was, what was the need to demolish the house.
